Hi there! This is kind of exciting! Why is it exciting? Because for the first time in a really long time I’m on my Blog introducing extensively my newest fabric line. I’m getting a little nostalgic here because it’s been a long time since I actually spent time outside of Instagram or facebook to talk about my fabric with Moda.
First and foremost, I’m doing well and as we move forward into the third quarter and then into next year…I’ll be talking again like I used to so long ago when I was in the thick of raising my kiddos. (They are all doing fabulous btw and all out in the world doing their own things).
Okay enough digressing lets get on with it!
This time around we have TWO collections. Lets start off with our newest Ombre.
Mystic Ombre is pretty special. 10 colors with amazing shades in each of the color ways. Each one starts on one selvage with deep saturation, and ombres to a light color to white (these would make amazing curtains!!!!) 42” of wonderful gradation of ombre from dark to light.
We have some pretty awesome patterns to support this fabric which we will post more about them in our next post! So watch for that!
Okay next lets talk about our Spectrum 108” backs!
This collection has 5 colors and is not just perfect for any of your quilt backs, they are perfect to make bags and cheater quilts (that sounds awful but you know what I mean!) With it’s half square triangle design, you have no idea that this is a solid piece of fabric! And if you wanted to make a baby to king sized quilt with this fabric you totally look like you’ve done the countless hours of work on it!
